The rates are reasonable and the staff are considerate. The only downside was the bugs.

The lake is nice. The hotel is in a bad state of repair, there’s no onsite food, the Swan Pub that’s part of the hotel is closed, there’s a football 5‑a‑side pitch with a lot of rowdy people, a drinking guy jumped out on us as we pulled up because he couldn’t get in without a phone, he smashed the window and doors, and we didn’t feel safe at all—avoid this place.

Not much to say. The place is extremely tired, didn’t mention the massive funfair directly next door, and there was zero peace and quiet.
