The host was lovely and very friendly. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The room squeezed a double bed, toilet, shower, double wardrobe, small drawer unit, desk with a TV, sink/kitchen with double hob, mini oven, microwave, kettle, fridge, and tea/coffee/sugar/biscuits into roughly a 10ft × 10ft space, and even had breakfast cereal dispensers just outside the door – clever for such a tight area, but the workmanship quality was below standard. I had a mishap when the door latch jammed, so I called the landlady to unlock it from the outside; it was a bit funny, but not if a fire were involved.

The place sits in a calm, safe spot yet is a short walk from the town’s main road, pubs, restaurants, and shops. The room was spot‑on with a shower, toilet, great bed, heater, wardrobe, desk, fridge, and a cooking area.

Everything I needed was there, plus thoughtful extras like free cookies, fruit, eggs, and cereal, and even an ironing board and iron for my travel‑stiff shirts. I’d highly recommend this lovely host.

All the essentials were available: a well‑equipped kitchen, a spacious room, and a comfy bed. The owner was very accommodating and answered my questions right away.
