As a Cotswold walker, I appreciated the variety of fruits and the small fridge in the room; it was great to have a well‑stocked option for breakfast or a snack.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and the USB sockets for charging were handy; the little fridges were also a nice touch. However, there was no mirror in the main rooms—only in the bathroom—and the tea/coffee station lacked spoons; one room had wooden stirrers, but the other had none.

Right on Cotswolds Way trail. Excellent location for through hikers! Restaurant/bar was very accommodating
