In Greece, there's a word—*philoxenia* (hospitality)—for which no exact synonym exists in any other language in the world. And yet, at the Barberini Retreat Hotel, we met people who embody this word in its truest sense and are themselves synonymous with it: Ivan, Pamela, and Letizia! Throughout our stay, we felt as if we were guests in a familiar and welcoming home, surrounded by our own people. They created a sense of comfort and calm that every traveler needs. The room was beautiful, modern, spotless, meticulously maintained, offering 24-hour hot water, daily cleaning, a comfortable bed and pillows, and an excellent location—right next to a metro station for easy transportation to distant areas, and also within walking distance of all major attractions, allowing us to enjoy our outings without any hassle. It is situated in a quiet and absolutely safe neighborhood with plenty of options for food, drinks, and desserts nearby. It exceeded every expectation, as the price even included various interesting activities that were free of charge (such as a tiramisu class day, etc.). We absolutely loved the staff at the Barberini Retreat Hotel—they were incredibly kind, helpful, always by our side. We truly felt like family! We wish there were a hotel like this in every city in the world—it was genuinely wonderful! Our sweet Pamela brightened our mornings with her warm smile and sweet "Buongiorno". Ivan, our favorite kindhearted Italian guy, made us feel at home and was there for anything we needed, making our stay in Rome even more pleasant and fun! And Letizia, with her sweetness, flawless organization from the very first moment even before our arrival in Rome, and her sincere care, made us never want to leave! Barberini Retreat Hotel is such a gem and a must to stay in! Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart!
