The breakfast is actually pretty great
just outside a tiny village, but having a bar and restaurant on site was a lifesaver

I liked the castle itself, but the bed was too hard for me and the breakfast felt a bit ordinary.

The space and quiet were good, but there was a missing small fridge.

The chateau building and grounds were lovely, and breakfast was great, but the room looked tired and needed an upgrade, and the wine in the restaurant was grossly overpriced.

We were blown away by the look of the place as we drove in, and the interior matched that excitement; we got an upgrade to a central room on the top floor overlooking the fountain, used the sauna and bar, and breakfast was well presented, tasty, and offered plenty of choices. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed that Wednesday night, so we had to settle for tasty tea at a nearby boulangerie.
