The central spot in the small village of Chiscau is great for hiking in the nearby Apuseni Natural Park and the Bear Cave, or for a relaxing break on a long road trip like ours; the price‑quality ratio is exceptional, which makes up for the shower stall and a few flaws; the family‑friendly vibe, staff availability, excellent local‑dish cuisine, and the good selection for breakfast, which isn’t a buffet but is made to order at a reasonable price per dish, all add up.
