“Cheap trick”
I liked how close it was to Fort Leonard Wood where we had to pick up our child. On the first night we couldn’t use the outdoor pool because of intermittent storms, and when we could it was brown and barely moving because it was still being cleaned. The hot tub was also unavailable. The continental breakfast was disappointing—just coffee and a few drinks, no real variety, and it smelled like a pot the whole time, even though the building was non‑smoking. We had booked a 2‑queen bed room but received a queen bed and a pull‑out couch. The kitchen was okay, but the room was small; we upgraded to a 1‑bedroom with a pull‑out couch, which was still cramped but a bit better. For the price, I guess that’s what you’d expect, but knowing what I know now I’d choose a different hotel. We’re from Minnesota and had never been to Missouri, so the photos made it look better than it is. The breakfast area was tiny, making it hard to move around when everyone arrived at the same time. It was the size of a hotel room and the pool was right off the breakfast room, not impressive to see the pool connected to the back parking lot.
