This was the perfect, well‑priced place for me and my dog on the long drive between Melbourne and Newcastle. Michael was a super friendly and accommodating host, and dinner at the hotel was also delicious! My dog quickly became friends with Danbi, the owners’ beautiful four‑legged companion, and the hotel was very central to town. I recommend checking with the owner before booking if you plan to bring a pet—there were extra charges because the room I booked wasn’t suitable for a dog. Even with the added fees, the total price was still amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Easy access to everything and your dog can stay with you. The place looks a bit run‑down, but it’s still very comfortable.

The staff were great. I’ve never stayed in a pub before, so shared facilities were new to me. One major issue was the constantly running tap in the room’s sink. It was comfortable, the food was excellent, and people were very friendly. It was also fantastic that I could bring my fur baby with me.

A traditional country pub with a wide verandah to enjoy sunsets with a cup of tea or another drink. I could park my motorcycle off the street, and breakfast was included, making it good value for money.
