The hotel's Zen atmosphere combines traditional Chinese aesthetics, featuring elegant guest rooms, tea rooms, and Chinese restaurants. Modern amenities include flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, and car rental services, a 5-minute walk from Wenshuyuan Subway Station.

The staff were great and the location was very good, but the renovations I knew about involved a jack hammer working very close to my room, creating terrible noise. Also the transport I booked didn’t arrive at the airport. After I complained, the hotel refunded my accommodation costs minus a 200 yuan service fee, which was fair.

A beautiful hotel located right in the heart of Chengdu. Highly recommended.

It’s easy to get from the airport to the hotel by subway (with a transfer). Get off at “Wenjun Temple” and walk a short distance. The building is new but has an old‑fashioned feel, and the atmosphere is nice. The staff are friendly, and speaking Chinese would be even better. English works. Compared to typical Chinese city hotels, the room feels a bit small, but it’s larger than Japanese business hotels.

The neighborhood, the room, and the old‑style hotel structure are nice. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation, but we were informed about this before we arrived.
