The place offered exactly the calm I needed for a quick escape, and Shawn’s vintage collection, from cars to clocks, was truly impressive.

The room was clean, quiet, and calming – just what we wanted for a city break, and there was nothing to complain about.

The host was very friendly and welcoming, making it a great spot to escape the city’s noise and bustle, and the furry babies kept us company and were well‑mannered. I did worry that the solar panels might not heat up in winter, and the water wasn’t really hot, but otherwise the place was lovely.

A breath of fresh air, it’s the perfect escape from the city rush even while staying in the city; stepping through the gate instantly feels like you’re in the woods. The host was amazing and the overall experience was phenomenal.
