The sea view from this quiet village was incredible, the décor was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. The room had everything we needed and more. Staff replied promptly to messages, though we never met in person. They gave helpful recommendations for nearby food and drinks. The downside was the lack of breakfast – there’s a café downstairs that could have offered coffee, pastries or toast. Also, no shampoo was provided.

The location and the style of the room was fabulous. It was clean and thoughtful in detail. A very interesting hotel. On the ground floor is a proper shop and a coffee shop both of which opened at 10 am. We ate at Dylan’s restaurant which is fabulous, and the Prince of Wales pub was relaxed with great food. Note that food stopped being served in most local places at 7.30. I went out of season and I’d not realised that there would be no staff present at all and the first one I met was as I was leaving on my last day ( ps they were lovely), but this meant bins wouldn’t get emptied, you had to wash cups and glasses yourself and if you ran out of loo roll, which we did, you got your own. It was no real hardship to be fair and very environmental in that respect but would have been good to have realised that

The place felt very homely, warm, and comfortable, and I loved the décor. Nothing to add.

We were warmly welcomed at this homely B&B. Parking was free right outside the front door, and I fell asleep to the sound of waves in the background. I’ll be back. No complaints, just a heads‑up that breakfast isn’t available; there’s a coffee shop on the ground floor that opens from 10 am, and other nearby spots if you want a fry‑up.
