Château Du Mont Joly

The restaurant is amazing. Having the chef greet guests in the kitchen before dinner is a brilliant touch. The venue is stunning, and because there are only a few rooms, the overall vibe is relaxed and very friendly. The owners, the chef and his wife, are warm and welcoming. The breakfast, however, feels too basic compared to the dinner the night before; no cured meats or cheeses and the jams are ordinary. I would have paid a few euros more for something that matched the restaurant’s cuisine.
