“Nice location and looks clean but don’t trust the pet friendly sign. Only dogs.”
The place looked nice and was in a local area of town. However, when I booked it was listed as “pet friendly,” not “dogs only” or “no cats,” so I arrived, was fully checked in, and as I walked out of my room the front desk told me I had to leave because I had a cat and I’d need to find another place immediately. I pointed out it was very last minute and that the booking said pet friendly online, but she said I could stay if my cat slept in her crate outside…in the cold and rain.
