88 Palms Hotel & Event Center

The location and the staff were excellent.

Nothing positive. The bathroom in the room and the room itself were problematic.

“Great staff, great location and pricing for everything. Needs to work on cleanliness.”

The staff were wonderful; the front‑desk girls were sweet and funny, and the tattooed student who worked there made my mother feel welcomed and cared for, especially given our difficult situation. On the downside, bugs appeared in our room, the bathroom door handle was broken, and every night more insects showed up on our belongings or in the beds—sometimes roaches, more often unidentified. The TV offered only five channels and frequently cut out, and the entire property smelled terribly of weed, which made us feel ill.

“Fantastic”

No complaints.

“The property needs upgrades sorely. It has potential, but without TLC I'm afraid it will close soon.”

Desha at the front desk was sweet, attentive, and polite, while the other clerks seemed to view helping guests as a chore. The elevator felt scary, and I couldn’t get through the phone for days after booking. The TV would reset unexpectedly, leaving me without a screen if I didn’t know what was happening.
