Baan Tanwa - MRT Ratchadapisek Exit 1 or 2

I had a great stay at Baan Tanwa! The host/owner is very nice and accommodating, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They provided free bottled water daily and fresh towels, which I really appreciated. The location is also very convenient. It’s just a few minutes walk from 7-Eleven, ATMs, and most importantly, MRT Ratchadaphisek, which made getting around Bangkok so much easier. Despite being close to everything I needed, the area was quiet and comfortable, so it was nice to come back to after a long day of exploring. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. Overall, I had a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend Baan Tanwa, especially if you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable place with easy access to the MRT. I would happily stay here again!

“Nice place for a night”

The sala full of Oriental antiques was impressive, and the room next to the outdoor market was clean and efficient. However, the street isn’t suitable for walking, and the acoustics in the halls could be better.

I love the spot—just a stone’s throw from 7‑Eleven and a food market. The room had a decent TV, a comfy bed, and a shower that worked fine, plus all the toiletries you’d need. They cleaned daily and swapped towels and toiletries each time. The pool, however, sits awkwardly right next to the front desk and feels cramped, not matching the pictures. The front desk was manned by an older woman and a few other staff, giving off an unprofessional vibe, and the lobby was cluttered with personal items and odd statues. When the cleaner came, she only handed me fresh towels but no new toiletries, so I had to ask the “big boss” to get them. The air‑conditioner was ancient; once it froze, made a loud noise, and dropped ice chunks on the floor—better not leave it running too long.

The place was spotless, the staff were friendly, and it felt safe. The only drawback was that the gym equipment wasn’t working properly, but otherwise it was fantastic.
