Right in the heart of a charming village, this place offers a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of a Proustian memory, with donkeys, horses, chickens, and dogs living in harmony amid green scenery around a beautiful pond; it’s just a stone’s throw from Carcassonne, making it easy to explore the region’s must-see spots, and it’s perfect for a quiet, restorative stay. The only flaw I could find was the lack of a shower in favor of a bathtub—nothing that really bothered me, just a tiny negative point.

Overall, the stay was wonderful, with stunning views from the room and an exceptional setting surrounded by forest and a lovely lake—all within the property. The hosts were very pleasant, and the place is ideal for a few days away from the chaos of big cities, with easy access to explore the area. Absolutely recommended.
