The apartment is in a quiet area of a well‑maintained building. The studio’s interior spaces are well arranged and functional. The highlight is the typical Maltese verandah; the rooftop terrace is comfortable and pleasant. The host was very helpful and attentive.

The location was good. There was no air conditioning, even though it was advertised, the ceiling fan didn’t work, the shower jet didn’t work well, and we were shocked several times by the outlet.

The property was tidy and welcoming, and finding water, wine, biscuits, and cards made us feel pampered. As soon as we arrived, we didn’t receive the email with the access codes, but they were provided promptly. The window was open when we entered, so we found many insects. The coffee machine wasn’t working, the rooftop fan only turned on after many attempts and couldn’t be used with the lights off. We tried to report this, but the fan issue remained unresolved. The mattress was firm, which might be a matter of taste. In the bathroom the sink was clogged. We also would have liked an extra towel.

The place is well situated and the host was helpful; the suggestions we made were addressed. The apartment was in good condition, with a great washing machine and fast drying because the dryers are on the terrace. The wardrobe had an odd smell, so we kept our clothes outside of it. There was no bedspread and only one chair, so we had to sit on the bedding. The mattress felt very soft. Even though the photos didn’t show a sink or a dishwasher, we found them missing and it made cooking difficult.

The location was convenient, the fridge and mini‑freezer worked, and there was a kettle. Plates, cutlery and pots were available, and we were welcomed with water, biscuits and wine. The owner communicated well. The room was very dark at night, and the top light didn’t help much; we had to use the bathroom to brighten it up. The coffee machine in the room was broken, and the extension socket sparked. The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly, making dishwashing hard. The shower pressure was weak, so it took a long time to wash hair. There was no A/C, and the fan was non‑functional, so the room got hot. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and found a cockroach in the room.
