The Valley Inn Motel, centrally located among Azilda's nickel mines, offers 24-hour desk service and snowmobile trail access. Guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi, cable TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The motel is 10 minutes from Whitewater Lake and Sudbury Downs, and 15 minutes from Dynamic Earth's Big Nickel, Science North, and the Sudbury Theatre Centre.

The place was spotlessly clean, and the owners really keep up a high standard. Breakfast was simple but thoughtful, and the area stayed tidy—like the waffle maker was spotless. The room felt a little cramped because of the couch, but that was fine.

Everything was just great: a nice, clean, cozy room and staff who were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, too. The only hiccup was that the room entry key cards didn’t work very well.

Getting to the room was easy, but the hotel sits right next to a busy highway and there are very few dining options nearby. The “continental” breakfast was advertised as a full breakfast, but it turned out to be disappointing.
