The beds were comfortable, but we weren’t greeted nicely; it felt like we were in the wrong place and they didn’t expect us. The place wasn’t very clean, there was no coffee or tea, only sugar, one set of cutlery, odd glasses, and it seemed poorly managed.

1. The place is at a walkable distance to the shops. 2. The grounds are clean and there is free Wi-Fi connection. 1. The room I was given has no privacy. You could hear everything in the next room. 2. The place is close to the highway and traffic noise is quite a bother. 3. Be ready to bring your own body lotion and a bottle of drinking water. Towels and shower gel will be available

I was greeted warmly, the rooms were spotless, and the place felt very secure, so I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone; thank you. I was happy with everything.

I visit Joburg for work often and, at this price point, this was the best experience I’ve had; what’s not to like about the property? The hot water runs out in about a minute or two – probably the only issue.

The place is generally nice and feels good value for money. I booked because of its proximity to Boskruin Tennis Club, but after a match I returned to a spot with no hot water. The caretaker tried to fix it, but I had to wait a few minutes for the geyser after 23:00, exhausted. It feels like they missed a basic necessity for hosting people, which was very disappointing.
