Mad Monkey Hostel Coogee Beach sits directly on Coogee’s golden sands, offering panoramic ocean views and immediate beach access. The hostel blends relaxed dorms with private apartment‑style rooms, all recently refurbished. Located at the start of the iconic Coogee‑to‑Bondi coastal walk, it is minutes from cafés, bars, the Cricket Oval, and the UNSW campus.

The stay was an excellent accommodation experience and offered great value for money.

The spot is right in the middle of everything and the staff were super friendly. The only hiccup was that I didn’t realize there was a stairwell to get to the room – a bit of a surprise.
