Nestled in Tukums’ historic centre, Hotel Tukums occupies a renovated 19th‑century building just five minutes from train and bus stations and 300 m from the main square. A good 3‑star hotel in a convenient location. Clean, the room has glasses, and at the reception there’s a kettle and a microwave. The staff are super, very friendly. The walls are cardboard. There’s no soundproofing at all.

The hotel is very conveniently located, in an old beautiful building. The interior rooms are very nicely decorated. Breakfast is good: several types of sausages, omelette, sausages, pancakes, basically everything to eat. The only thing I might suggest adding to breakfast is yogurt. Otherwise everything was great. A friendly girl at the reception explained everything, gave brochures to get acquainted with the city where we were for the first time. The room was ready much earlier than the official check‑in time. The room was spacious, two rooms (we were three).

The location is in the city center, which is an advantage. We went to a concert, it was convenient. We didn’t order breakfast. The room is very small, not visible in the photos. Parking is unlit, although free. The city didn’t leave a good impression, the evening dining establishments are closed. Dinner has to be arranged yourself.
