“Lovely stay just had jealous kids over the beds.”

The location was great and the bell tent was lovely, yet the children’s beds need upgrading to lift them off the floor; plenty of space exists for fold‑out metal frame beds, and adding such would make their experience a touch more luxurious, just like the lovely double bed for the parents.

“Relaxing ,”

It was a comfy, nice escape; pizza and burgers on site were both very nice, and the tent itself was well maintained. However, you have to pay £1 for a shower, which can be difficult for anyone who doesn’t carry cash because reception was often empty and you couldn’t change money; I also paid £1 one night, which was supposed to give 10 minutes but only gave me 7 minutes. The farm is near the main road, so you can hear it, though that can’t be helped; the bus stop is close but the service is E1, not S1 as the website and Google say.

The tent was beautiful, located quite outside Oxford (easily reachable by bus), and the parking area was large, though the toilets were a bit far from the tent, which was a little inconvenient. It was very organised, with a heater (since it gets super cold at night) and more facilities that we didn’t use because we only stayed for one night. The tent is greatly overpriced for what it is, so we didn’t find it a value‑for‑money place to stay.
