“Best stay in Namibia!”

This was our favorite spot during the entire three‑week Namibia trip with our kids aged 12 and 14. The safari tents were stunning, the river views with hippos and crocodiles were amazing, and every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and fun. The food was outstanding, and we appreciated little extras like popcorn around the campfire before dinner. Though it wasn’t the cheapest option, the value was excellent. The guided boat tour was brilliant, and we found that self‑driving for the game drive was just as good, saving us a lot of money. The guest experience and customer service far outweighed the cost. Thank you so much. Nothing was wrong; it was perfect.

The staff were friendly and the food was very good. The place had some TLC, but a makeover is needed because it looked tired. The shower/toilet area needs a clear division between the shower and the toilet.

“Beautiful, peaceful lodge with the most divine staff and food!”

The lodge, set along the riverbank, was stunning. I couldn’t say enough about the lovely, friendly staff, the delicious food, the comfortable beds and chalets, and especially Yoda the cat, who I adored. I loved hearing hippos in the night outside my chalet. Nothing was lacking.

“Not worth the money very over priced.”

The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. I wasn’t impressed with the food, and on the second day I got food poisoning from raw chicken served at dinner.

“It is a camp and feels like camping. Overpriced for what you get.”

The island villas offer a beautiful view of the river where hippos play nearby. It’s a long drive to get there and it’s off the beaten track. The food was really good, but there are no vegetarian or pork‑free options for breakfast. There is no WiFi and no hot water.
