Located in a picturesque park, the Gut Kump Gastronomie und Hotel is a historic hotel and restaurant dating back to 1298. A fantastic hotel; I stayed only briefly but thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous room and slept like a princess. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated, and the reception was very friendly, making me feel instantly welcome.

A comfortable, modern hotel with a beautiful view of the fields. With such a standard, the hotel could raise the quality of its breakfasts.

The room with a balcony was excellent, as were the beds and the bathroom. Everything was very neat and comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by a spacious, beautiful, and well‑maintained garden that gives the whole place a pleasant and calm look. In addition, there was a large private parking lot, which was very convenient. Late check‑out was also a plus: it was possible until 12.00 pm. The restaurant was of very good quality and offered a nice selection of dishes. A small note for lovers of German cuisine: fortunately there was no schnitzel on the menu. The hotel is located in an old medieval farmhouse that was recently fully renovated and expanded with a large, modern wing. The combination of the historic building with the modern extension is particularly successful. Nothing. Everything was present, it was clean and wonderfully cared for, the garden is spacious and modern. All equipment worked and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room is very large and beautiful, spread over two levels with a separate sofa and a second TV. The terrace offers a nice view of the park. Overall, a good hotel with great grounds and large event barns. Even though there’s a beer garden on such a large property, you have to pick up drinks from a fridge at the reception. The outdoor restaurant only opens at 17:30. Breakfast was unfortunately very limited with little variety. In the evening restaurant we were the only guests… a bit disappointing. The whole hotel feels more like an event hotel. On the balcony there was a wasp nest, so we couldn’t sit there or open the window, and I passed that information to the reception.

It’s a super good place, a lovely room, an amazing view, clean and nice. The bed was good, but the breakfast buffet was lacking.
