“MEMORABLE STAY.”
Zack runs Jazepuri-Jaze 2 and does everything to make guests happy; I stayed eight days and never regretted choosing this homestay. The place is off the main tourist trail, but that’s fine for me. Grab rides are cheap, or you can take a boat across the river to get right into the action. I used the bicycle the owner gave me; having a car or motorbike makes reaching the city center easy. Two restaurants and a supermarket are within a five‑minute walk and a ten‑minute walk, respectively. The property offers a water dispenser for hot and cold water, coffee, and tea, and the kitchen is fully equipped except for a microwave—only a gas stove and an electric oven. Don’t miss the farm tour, the local tribe village, and the orangutan viewing; you’ll love collecting exotic fruits (which you can take home) and swimming in the local river, ending with a nice jungle lunch. I’d recommend staying a few nights; Zack will cook for you if you ask. The place also has a laundry machine with detergent, and you can dry clothes on the roof, which gives a beautiful view of the surroundings. At the end of my stay, Zack drove me to the airport—very kind of him. I plan to return next year and expect it to be as pleasant as the first time. The only downside is the rooster and Muslim prayer sounds; ask Zack for earplugs and he’ll provide them.
