I stayed for two nights. On day one the television was useless and I couldn’t get any national channels; I told a staff member who promised to inform his manager. On day two the TV was still not replaced or fixed, and the air‑conditioning wasn’t cool enough.

The place was convenient, but the air conditioning kept acting up and the shower head was loose, which was annoying.

The location was good, but the room and facilities were dirty. The shower needed a serious scrub; the buildup at the screen joins was gross, and I’m not sure when the area under the bed was last vacuumed—it was filthy. I never saw any staff, only a text with the room code to enter. The standard was far below what it was a few years ago. Smoke butts were found in pot plants, spider webs on doors and windows, and there was no pool area anymore.

The room was lovely and clean, and checking in with a PIN code was a breeze. We didn’t realize the room was on the upper floor, which is a problem for me because of medical issues that sometimes make stairs difficult, but I managed this time. A few of us were smokers, and everyone agreed that having some chairs and decent ashtrays would have helped avoid using pot plants.
