We really appreciated the owner Shirley. She was well prepared and gave excellent suggestions on things to do and places to visit. We dined out with her on a few occasions, and she was a very fun host.

I was thrilled to discover this beautiful little spot for my short stay in Cork. The interior of the home is very inviting and comfortable, filled with beautiful pieces of Art from the owner's travels around the world. The garden is very lovely, especially on a warm evening sitting outside surrounded by lush foliage. I was very delighted to meet Shirley, she is warm, personable, a wonderful conversationalist and went above and beyond to ensure that not only my stay was great but also helped me find the best things to see and do in Cork while I was there. I am so very very grateful to have met this lovely lady, and I wish all the very best life has to offer! Everything was perfect.

Communication was excellent, with plenty of information on what to do around the area. Breakfast was excellent and the conversation was good, making it a stellar stay. For me this place was excellent; some might find it inconvenient because it’s a 15 minute bus ride.

This was the first place we stayed in Ireland where it actually felt like we were in someone’s home. It could’ve been awkward, as sometimes they can be, but Shirley our host was wonderful. She always had a good story to tell and an infectious laugh. We loved our breakfast here.

The direct contact with Shirley – friendly conversations and good tips. Good breakfast. You stay with the host in her private house. For our needs the bed was a bit soft and the room very small – for a short stay though completely fine.
