Seascape in Barmouth sits directly on the beach, offering private balconies with sea and mountain vistas, a lush garden, and a spacious terrace. The historic building’s recently renovated rooms feature walk‑in showers, free WiFi, refrigerators, TVs, and wardrobes. Just a 2‑minute stroll to Barmouth Beach, 600 m to Dragon Theatre, and 30 km to Portmeirion.

It was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The location was great. The bed was comfy and I slept well! The entrance had plenty of information and free tea and coffee could be refilled. The owner was lovely, very welcoming, and friendly! I had a hot‑water issue, but she responded quickly and fixed it! These comments don’t take away from the Seascape being a lovely place to stay and I would stay again…but probably after a busy summer period, it looks a bit tired in places, and in need of a refresh (stain on ceiling in bedroom) – batteries in clocks need replacing so they tell the time – a big what looked like an empty cardboard box in the hall didn’t look good. The bathroom door was noisy and squeaky (I fixed it with a little makeup oil) and the hinges look a little rusted.

The stay was always pleasant and the owners were friendly. Nothing was lacking, everything was great.

Everything was perfect! The place was well located and Shona, the host, was friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. I can't think of any downside.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, directly across the road from the beach. The host, Shona was really friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Nothing, it was great
