The owner was very friendly and attentive, and the hotel was completely empty so we were the only guests. The room was spacious and spotless, though the bathroom layout was a bit odd with the toilet in the middle of the room, separated by a partition but still open to the ceiling. Everything else was clean, and the breakfast, though French, was perfectly adequate. Unfortunately, the outdoor areas looked very unkempt; the animals kept there appeared thin and poorly cared for, which was a shame given the beautiful grounds. The pool was unusable because it was covered, and everything around it also looked run-down.
