The staff were polite and we had pleasant conversations with our hostess. The stay was unique because the property is a stud farm. Breakfast served in the room felt like a 5‑star experience—hearty, tasty, and different each morning. The location was convenient for exploring Verneuil sur Avre. We got to meet the horses and other animals (dogs, cats, ducks) that were clearly happy and pampered. We enjoyed a pleasant stay. We would have liked a door between the bathroom and the room for more privacy; instead we used the other bathroom located in the building’s entrance. It might be a good idea to provide something to hang the shower head on the bathtub, which was acting as a shower.

The setting was gorgeous, the room was very pleasant and well equipped. The owner was lovely and offered many small, wonderful touches. Nothing else to note.

“Perfect”

The location was beautiful and a very quiet, scenic part of France. Just a heads‑up that the spa and wellness facilities aren’t included in the room price, so be careful. I loved everything—the dogs and horses were the best part! The bath was great and very quiet.
