The village is in the middle of the town, with lovely paintings of the cat Mikeš and local Ladovské images; the owner is nice, the room was clean and pleasant. The food at the pension was average, and I was disappointed by the dinner, especially the ginger lemonade which tasted like water with a few grated ginger pieces and a slice of lemon—nothing sweet or sharp, and not worth the price. The duck was lukewarm and the quarter presented was actually a thigh. When we arrived, there was no parking available, the village was packed with cars due to a festival, football, and a “guláš fest,” so the whole village was overcrowded, but the accommodation itself cannot be faulted.
