The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and flexible, and the entryway was decorated for the holiday, giving it a cheerful vibe. The water, candy, and coffee station was a nice touch. The house sits near a small, quaint town and not too far from Tallahassee, and the drive in was beautiful. A pick‑your‑own persimmon farm was nearby, as was a great barbecue in a red shack on the way to Tallahassee. The home was very quiet and private. The homemade coffee at breakfast was wonderful, and the bedroom and bathroom were spotless and very clean. Overall, it was a good stay, though I can't comment on the value since everything was booked for an FSU homecoming and town prices were high. The living‑room furniture felt less welcoming than the rest of the house; I wouldn't picture myself reading or working there because it wasn't cozy or inviting. Aside from that, there was no other chill spot. A small area off the side door was nicely done but felt unfinished with a bar across from it. Breakfast was scheduled for a specific time, and while it was prompt, it wasn't what we expected compared to most B&Bs; it was prepared and left on the table, so arriving just 5–10 minutes late meant the eggs were cold. The breakfast was well made but basic. A small tour of the venue for a wedding took place, and we felt rushed to finish our meal so they could come into the room to see it.
