The breakfast at Veraltes was surprisingly good – fresh pastries and a solid coffee. Unfortunately the room left a lot to be desired; it felt cramped and dated, so I wouldn’t recommend staying there just for the lodging.

The hotel nailed the food and the staff were genuinely friendly, making the mornings pleasant and the surroundings nice to walk around. But the room itself was a nightmare – the shower barely dripped, the sink was almost dry, the toilet took fifteen minutes to fill, and there was mold in the shower and stained carpets everywhere, feeling more like a rundown hostel than a retro‑styled place.

“Kombinace ubytovny a luxusního resortu”

This place sits in a gorgeous forest clearing with meadows and ponds, and the potential is huge. The restaurant has been partially redone and now boasts a lovely terrace and forest seating, plus nearby modern cabins, a pond‑side sauna, a forest pool, and heated tubs that are pure bliss. Breakfast was excellent, and there’s plenty of sport options, an alpaca pen, and even a beach.

The spot is spot‑on; everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
