The location might have been okay, but it turned out to be farther from Piazza del Popolo than I thought. The photos on the website looked much better than the actual place. The rooms were dirty, the internet didn’t work, the air conditioning was broken, and we had to leave the windows open because it was unbearably hot. Outside noise made it nearly impossible to sleep. I was traveling with two kids, which made the whole experience even more frustrating and uncomfortable. The accommodation was far below what I expected, especially for the price we paid. I had already booked three more nights at the same place, but I couldn’t bring myself to stay there again—I was willing to lose the $1,800 I’d already paid rather than subject my family to another stay. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The property was nowhere near what was advertised, and I would not recommend it, especially to families with children.
