“Not the best”
It was close to the shops and central to the Circle and District lines, which made it very handy for our week exploring London. Checking in at night was a bit confusing because the reception was across the road in a different building. The furniture is clearly aging with chips on most items, so a revamp is needed. The sink tap was broken and not fixed. There was no ventilation, so it got very hot at night in the full family room. The mattresses were very firm and there was only one pillow each. Overall, the room was ok—squishy but served its purpose. There was some black mould in the bathroom, though the shower worked well. On the first day, the doona cover was changed to one that was damp with mould on it. Only one entry card was provided for the family room, which was inconvenient when we split up in the city.
