“A great historic hotel on the shore of Lake Ohrid.”

It feels like a blast from the past, with a very smartly appointed hotel full of antique items. The restaurant serves good food with local specialties, and the included breakfast is quite extensive. The rooms are clean, offer great views, and you can see the Albanian coast on the other side of the lake. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the center.

The hotel, slowly being renovated from old times, offers a large room, ample parking, and good breakfasts. The elevator is a big plus, and card payment and check‑in go smoothly. The balcony provides a beautiful lake view. To reach the beach you have to cross the street, and the beach itself is very neglected. Wi‑Fi in the room usually didn’t work. The hotel is far from the city center, but that distance was mentioned in the description.
