A small family hotel with incredibly helpful staff, especially Adriana, who handled every request—from extra sheets and trash bags to a Greek phone call when we had a problem with our car rental. She even showed us a map of sights and restaurants, lent us a beach umbrella and a lounge chair, and I noticed she had loaned a hairdryer to another family. She gave me books without me asking and once left a fresh pomegranate at the door. The location was perfect for us: a quiet spot overlooking a tiny harbor with two taverns serving the catch of the day and the hotel itself, with the mountains and olive trees behind. If you want more bustle, just drive to nearby Bali or Sises, where we recommend the Delphin restaurant. The hotel is great for unwinding; it’s a small place, probably 18 rooms spread over three floors. The shower is tiny and has a curtain that comes close when the water is warm. The room looks a bit dated compared to the photos, but everything is clean and nothing is broken.
