We found the egg selection at breakfast insufficient; after about 15 minutes nothing was left, and no restocking occurred. The hotel’s location was fine, just on a through‑traffic road with buses. During our stay at the Kurhotel Würdinger Hof in Bad Füssing, we noticed several issues that negatively affected our overall impression: the room had spider webs in corners and on pictures, the lamps were dusty, and the bathroom was dirty. The pillows smelled noticeably sweaty, and the fridge failed to keep food cold, sometimes freezing it. Common areas also showed poor cleaning: spider webs on hallway lamps and dirty stairs. At breakfast, the egg offering was again inadequate, and no restocking happened. Additionally, staff uniforms were dirty, and a worn Dirndl had visible greasy sweat stains, which we found unappealing in the dining area. Overall, the room and common areas did not meet our expectations for hotel cleanliness, and the breakfast and service issues further diminished our stay. In conclusion, we were dissatisfied and see significant room for improvement in room cleaning, common area maintenance, and breakfast organization, so we cannot recommend the hotel at this time.

“Schöner Urlaub”

We really liked the place and Bad Füssing itself; the hosts were friendly and made an effort to give guests a nice holiday. What we didn't like was that the hotel advertises wellness, massages, and a sauna on the side—this should be removed and it should be noted that dogs are allowed but only in the main building. The rooms are quite old, the mattresses very soft, the shower small, and the bathroom itself is also rather small.

Breakfast is truly excellent for this price range, showing clear effort, and the restaurant leaves a good impression, even for non‑overnight guests. The room furnishings are dated; this isn’t a problem if they’re well maintained, but here we see damage and noticeable wear right away. To bring it up to standard, money would need to be invested in renovations (e.g., laminate instead of carpet, replace damaged curtains and bedding, re‑grout the bathroom). The cleaning staff’s work level is not commendable—there was still dirt on the floor tiles in the bathroom when we took over the room, and dust was visible on the TV and elsewhere. It feels as if the house is primarily run for the restaurant, while accommodation is left to wear and tear, which is regrettable.
