The décor, the super attentive staff, and the breakfast were great, and the room was large and comfortable.

The property sits on the second row of buildings on a narrow Lamu street, built in a local style with plenty of greenery on each floor. Breakfast options are chosen from a menu and served in a beautifully decorated dining area. The hotel also offers a boat transfer to the airport for 800 Ksh.

Alex the manager was super helpful and very friendly, escorting us to and from the boat, and the rooftop reception was great for sunrise. The shower drain was blocked, causing water to spill into the bathroom, and the room had little airflow at night because the outside lights stayed on, so curtains had to be kept closed, which further reduced ventilation.
