The Taksim Royal Beach Hotel

“Terrible”

Nothing positive comes to mind right now. The Taksim Royal beach hotel is, by far, the worst place I’ve ever managed to book a room at… what a mistake… this place doesn’t even have a competition because they really did so well messing up everything that’s possible or impossible. The ladies and gentlemen at the reception I am sorry but I have never seen someone so useless in my life they just should put poppets there and call it a day what a waste of recourses… like are these people actually paid to just sit there and do nothing? I couldn’t figure out the whole time like what’s even reason for these people to go to work they should have just stayed at home. Customer service is absolutely unknown in this place I don’t think they even know what that word means to be honest. Also they like to open your room every now and then just for fun I guess . I had 5 different staff in my room around my bed in less than 2 hours I was speechless. 2 lovely receptionists that the whole day just sit and stare and judge people as they walk by just decided to walk into my room and do their check out report and calculation on my bed … how more unprofessional you can get? And when I pointed out to this lady that maybe next time it will be better idea to do check out at her useless desk and not my bed she got offended and claimed that her boss made her to do it in the way around my bed and all… I can’t even imagine what kind of person that boss must be wow … walking around with such a fabulous ideas…

“Matig ( maar personeel was top)”

The pool was a highlight, yet the rooms were neither clean nor modern, and there were a lot of flies around the pool area.

Unfortunately the photos are misleading and the rooms do not look like those displayed on booking. The pool is in the restaurant on the main road. The hotel was uncomfortable and not well kept. Rooms smelt strongly of chemical detergent, were old and not pleasant / well kept, and beds were very hard. It was ok for one night, but I wouldn’t stay here again

The only thing I could praise was the location. The spot is good on the beach and right under a 7‑Eleven, and the room furniture and overall hotel décor are classic. However, we ran into a WC issue; we told the front‑desk staff to either change our room or fix the toilet, but our request was ignored.
