I was close enough to the concert venue that I could walk there, but the dorm room turned out to be smaller than I’d hoped.

The location by the river was convenient and the music room was a neat touch, and the air conditioner actually worked. The concept was appealing, but the place fell short of my expectations for the price. There was no nightstand next to the bed for my phone and glasses, and the fridge was barely a fridge at all. The street outside was noisy at night with cars and bikes doing all sorts of crazy things, and the bar didn’t open until 3:00; at 3:08 we were told it was still closed, so we left.

The property had a fun, clean vibe and plenty of great spaces—whether you wanted to play games, share a cocktail, or relax by the fireplace, everything was there. The staff were welcoming and kind throughout, offering restaurant and nightlife suggestions, and the room itself was well-equipped.

The room was spotless and had everything I needed, but the front‑desk staff were snarky when I arrived. I had been promised a 2 pm check‑in, yet they shrugged and said “things change and we can’t guarantee that,” even though I’d been told a month earlier that it would be possible. I was told to wait and that I wouldn’t be judged for staying until 3 pm, yet there were rooms ready and the check‑in process was rigid and inefficient, leading to a long line and disappointment.
