“Un loc decent”
The setting is very good, far from the typical club noise in Vamă, and the outdoor areas are spacious, well maintained, full of greenery, with a few pavilions available. The staff is well trained and ready to help. The rooms (only in the hotel) are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is tasty and varied. I’ve been a guest at this hotel for three stays this summer, each time trying different rooms, both in villas and in the hotel, and the conclusion is the same when it comes to bed comfort: they’re far below standard, using the same worn, uncomfortable mattresses. You really feel all the springs “massage” your body! When you choose a hotel, you expect superior conditions (compared to other lodging types) where comfort should be the benchmark, and sleep quality depends heavily on that. At the nightly rate of over 500 lei, I believe a minimal investment is warranted, and at least the mattresses should be replaced. When choosing villa rooms, you can find some decent ones in terms of size and amenities, or some that feel like they’re 20 years old.
