The room is nice and the spot is amazing—right in the heart of Taksim—and the Wi‑Fi is decent. On the downside, there’s a terrible odor coming from the toilet and plumbing, it’s impossible to drop off luggage, no one is at the front desk, and the “reception” is just a staircase in the building. Hot water is scarce; you either have to take a quick shower or wait for it to heat up again.

Nothing good. If you’re looking for a “let’s see how expectation matches reality” experience, this is it. The property has nothing to do with the photos—filthy, moldy, plaster peeling right above the bed, and a stench that makes you want to leave your shoes off. The plumbing is old, the mirror is broken, and the walls are dirty. I’d call the photos a scam. We left right after checking in, and they wouldn’t refund us or even acknowledge the discrepancy on the booking platform.

I like the location 1 min from istiklal street and 5 min from taksim square The room i booked is good size, shower is big. The staff are easily reachable via WhatsApp, friendly. The lighting in the room could be better. The bed is made of 2 mattresses joined together so they kept moving apart. The hot water comes and goes sometimes during the shower
