We absolutely adored our time here; the staff were outstanding, the room was comfortable, and the grounds looked stunning. Parking on the premises was a major plus. The breakfast chef offered to whip up anything you wanted, which was fantastic. We dined at the Postgate that first evening, and the price matched the beautiful food. The only downside was the bathroom, which felt a bit dated and could use an update. Some décor was old‑worldy, but that actually felt comforting, like staying in a traditional English countryside pub rather than a new build. Overall, no real negatives beyond that.
