The calm, the old‑world charm in the décor, the breakfast with a wide range of sweet and savory options, the secure park with a coded gate, the large parking area, and the private pool were all positives, but the lack of an elevator meant we had to climb a steep staircase with our luggage when we arrived.

The place was extraordinary; the hotel’s own parking lot was huge, the rooms were unique and spotless, the setting was very quiet, and the bus gets you quickly to the center. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and in the evenings you could eat well and affordably at nearby restaurants. It’s simply great and highly recommended—a beautiful property!

The property was a very peaceful oasis set in beautiful grounds, with a long tree‑lined driveway leading to the house, 30 minutes by bus into Santa Maria Novella. The room was pleasant with a beautiful outlook but very tight, and the kettle had dangerous exposed wires, which were immediately replaced when I pointed it out.
