“We had cockroaches”

The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good, but we found two cockroaches in our room and were told they would spray next week. They were right in the open, so we had to leave and have been fighting with booking and management for a refund—booking says management refuses, management says they can’t act because it’s a third party. Either way, roaches were in our room, we had to go elsewhere, and we’re not getting any money back.

“Below our expectations which were already low”

We chose this place because it was the only available hotel after bed bugs ruined our original stay, and the staff met us in the lobby to secure our booking for a few nights. The elevator was out when we checked in, which was inconvenient but not a huge issue, but then the A/C failed in our room. The staff didn’t seem to care about fixing it, and when problems arise and no one responds, I feel compelled to leave a review even though I normally don’t.

“Was a very nice place to stay”

The location was great, the full kitchen was handy, and the staff were very friendly, but the breakfast left something to be desired.

“Friendly and responsive staff; good location for visiting Carlsbad Caverns”

The staff were very friendly and responsive, and the location was good, but our initial room wasn’t cleaned properly. The staff immediately moved us to another identical room that was clean, and everything worked out fine.

The room was very spacious and had everything you need for a long‑term stay, but it was extremely dirty and had a pee stain on the comforter.
