The place is gorgeous, cozy, and the new facilities look great, the breakfast was good and the dinner was excellent; the atmosphere is pleasant and they have a variety of planned activities. Everything was fine, though it isn’t on the beach but it’s very close.

It’s beautiful and the room is super well designed so everything you need is within reach and neatly organized. There’s plenty of space and privacy, and you can rest comfortably. Sophie, one of the volunteers, was a sweetheart and arranged optional dinners if you wanted to explore new places. Olivia, a local from Popoyo, is charming and cooks luxury meals. The Wi‑Fi works well. It’s a bit far from Popoyo’s main beach and the taxis to get there are expensive.

“An unforgettable little chapter filled with the best people, epic waves and good vibes”

Tukasa was the best experience! This was my first solo trip, so I felt a little nervous at first, but Tukasa really lives up to its name. It felt like home the moment I arrived. Throughout my travels, this stay is probably where I felt the most present, surrounded by so many wonderful people, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely one of those trips I know I’ll always look back on. Huge shoutout to Lisa, who is an absolute rockstar, and Tuna the cat… I miss you <33 Great place, great location, great staff. I loved every minute and honestly couldn’t recommend Tukasa enough!
