The Museum Hotel, located in George Town's UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers traditionally-decorated rooms in a restored historical building. Colonial-era furnishings, outdoor pool, and in-house restaurant are featured. Free WiFi is available. The hotel is close to Penang Heritage Gallery (290m), Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion (800m), and Little India (2.4km). Air-conditioned rooms have ironing facilities, flat-screen TV, and minibar.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the storage was good, the spot was quite central, the rooms were pretty, and overall the hotel was lovely. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast didn’t have many vegetarian options straight away, but the staff worked hard to meet our requests and cooked delicious food for us 🥰

The staff were very helpful and sweet with their smiles. The hotel, room, and bathroom were all clean. The bagel tuna at breakfast was tasty. However, the bed squeaks when moved, the coffee at the cafe was disappointing, and the view from the window is still unpleasant.

The vibe is very welcoming and the furniture feels very vintage. The split‑level layout is a downside; the TV and fridge are on the lower floor, so it’s not ideal for older guests.
