The staff were genuinely friendly and quick to help, which made the stay pleasant at first. However, getting fresh towels turned into an embarrassing ordeal – I had to keep asking and still got no response. They only provide one bath towel per guest for a three‑day stay, which never dries in time. I wouldn’t pick this room again.

Nothing was advertised as missing, and we weren’t told anything was broken until we got there. The room itself was a disappointment: ripped curtains, a sofa with a broken leg, dim lighting, old‑looking furniture, a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly, and a face towel that was a hassle to replace. Information was scarce, and the use of the name “Bourbon” for the investor felt misleading. Overall, a poor choice.

The team’s service was top‑notch and the room felt clean and cozy, complete with soap, shampoo, and conditioner, plus a prime spot near the city’s main attractions. The only real drawback was the minibar, which was filled with water and unusable, though it didn’t ruin our short stay. Also, there were no power outlets near the bedside tables.

The bed was super comfortable, the room spacious, and the bathroom large – all in a quiet setting. The only gripe was the price of water: a 350 ml bottle cost 11 reais, though the gym does have a dispenser if you want to fill your own bottle. Otherwise, a solid stay.

The hotel’s location is fantastic and the breakfast decent, and the room felt roomy despite its age. The check‑in experience, however, left a sour taste – the staff seemed dismissive, and we were handed a room with dirty windows and a lackluster view, plus the mini‑fridge was empty. It made me think twice about booking through that channel again.
