Rendezvous Oldtown Chiangmai

“Relación precio calidad. La hospitalidad y buena predisposición de la recepción fue muy sobresaliente”

The property matched what you pay for. Initially, the first room was a bit dark, so we asked for a change and they switched it out very quickly.

“Top Lage, aber leider wenig Komfort.”

The location was truly great – a night market was just around the corner and everything else was easily reachable from there. The room itself was surprisingly spacious and offered plenty of room. I also liked that two free bottles of water were provided daily. Check‑in and check‑out were quick and hassle‑free. On the downside, the bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable for me. The bathroom didn’t feel very clean, and the fridge was old and somewhat dirty. What really bothered me was how noisy the room was – I’ve never experienced such high sound transmission in a hotel. There was also a persistent, musty and somewhat odd smell coming from the bed area, and the towels smelled musty too. I was also confused when a curtain was hung where I expected a window – behind it was just a wall.

The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and English was no problem. The location was great – Walking Street, temples, cafés were all within walking distance. The local Thai market and the bus station were quickly reachable with Bolt motorcycle service, just like the train station. I’ll definitely come back. And there’s a hairdresser in the building too. What more could you want?

“Great and close to the main street”

The room was comfortable and close to the places we wanted to go. Everything else was fine.

The staff were very nice. The electricity didn’t charge properly, it wasn’t the cleanest but overall it was good.
